Jeremy Underwood Photography is based out of the Sacramento Area in Roseville, California. Our approach to wedding photography is contemporary photography, a bit of candid photography or photojournalism photography, some artistic photography with a touch of tradition photography.

Our photography is the style of photos you see in all of your modern wedding magazines. No longer are the days of a perfectly posed bride and groom in front of a church alter with a stiff smile. Oh no, wedding photography is much more fluid and candid these days. The new age of photography shows off your personality and emotion, taking note from the photojournalists.
Wedding Photographs
Photojournalism is defined by a series of candid photos that portray the story of the entire day. This allows each wedding to be unique and more personal for the couple. No two weddings will look the same as you view your story of images. The photographer approaches the wedding as a “fly on the wall” so to speak. The idea is to let the day happen and not be obtrusive.
Wedding Photography Prices
Lots of my friends ask me how to pick the right wedding photographer for them (if I’m not available of course). I believe that choosing a wedding photographer comes down to three factors: price, style and personality. Price is simple, either it is in the budget or it is not. The style of photography offers the same approach, either you like the photos or you don’t. Lastly, the personality of a photographer is what usually differentiates which photographer you choose. You have to ask yourself…will this person be able to lead when necessary, will this person be able stay on the sideline while I enjoy my event and will I enjoy hanging out with this person all day? If all three things come in line, then you have found your person.
