The Wedding Photography of Victoria & Tim, Sacramento CA

There was a little bit of New York to this Northern California wedding, as the day was spiced with the chatter of New Yorkers.  From the moment I met Victoria and Tim for their engagement session they were united–their love almost tangible.  I admire their ability to not fret over little things, because family and friends and being comfortable together is certainly what matters most.  A wedding such as this reminds me that this is what it’s all about.  It was a night of good food, good company and good fun.

The Wedding Photography of Deanna & Tameem, Sacramento CA

October 20, 2008 – 12:56 pm

Every wedding pulsates with its own rhythm…and this one felt like one giant party!  The inevitable nerves of the ceremony were absent, and any lingering stress completely dissipated as the couple entered the reception.  Deanna & Tameem’s eyes were dancing before the music even started.  As should be the case, the newlyweds were enveloped by friends and family at their arrival, and with the beat resonating through the air, the crowd’s excitement could not be suppressed.

The Wedding Photography of Tracy & Kevin, Sacramento CA

What a beautiful day!   You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day here in Sacramento or a nicer couple.  It was one of those days that my work truly felt like play.  When I arrived, there was no late bride, no nervous bridesmaids, no last minute panics…just serenity.  Both Tracy and Kevin were as calm as any couple could be, ready to walk down that isle and become husband and wife.  After hundreds of weddings, I know just how crazy things can get.  This time it wasn’t the craziness that caught me off guard, it was the peacefulness.   It was a beautiful thing to see two people that were so comfortable with each other that all worries where gone and all that was left to do was have a great time.  It was truly my pleasure to be a part of Tracy and Kevin’s day!

A special thanks goes out to Mike at the Croatian American Cultural Center for making everything flow seamlessly and taking that extra effort to care for each and every person.

The Wedding Photography of Nicole & Matt, Sacramento CA

As I came upon the room, I could hear the scurry of bridesmaids running about.  As soon as I entered the room, I could feel the excitement.  Then Nicole’s warm smile said it all…it was going to be a wonderful day.

I knew from the engagement session of Matt and Nicole that it would be a great wedding.  Their genuine warmth and down to earth style assured me of this.  The wedding was held at the beautifully manicured grounds of the Vizcaya in Sacramento.  As you can see, emotions and laughter ran high this day.  It was my pleasure to be a part of their special day.

Engagement Session at California State Capitol, Sacramento

Pictage Partner Conference 2008

So the last few days have been spent getting a dose of education and inspiration at this years Pictage Partner Conference.  It was an amazing two days of photography workshops from the top professionals in the nation.  Its been interesting to hear about the latest styles and trends happening all over the nation…over 30 different speakers.  Plus, it was a great shot of inspiration at the peek of the wedding season.

Engagment Session, Historic Old Town Roseville

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this engagement session of Deanna and Tameem.  It was an afternoon of smiles and laughter as we strolled around the Historic Old Town Roseville.  It is so nice to hang out with a couple that is bubbling with excitement…I can’t wait for the wedding.
